Adams Harrison Shows Their Support To Local And National Children Charities
/in News/by Sue LawtonAdams Harrison have carried the Christmas spirit into the New Year by donating £1000 across national and local charities. The money was given in lieu of sending Christmas Cards to their clients in December, something that they have done for the past few years.
Jennifer Carpenter, Managing Partner said, “we are delighted to have donated money to both local and national causes. We make donations to local charities every year, however, this year with the Ebola Crisis we felt it only right that we also donated to the Children suffering in Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia.”
Rebecca Dedman a Solicitor at the firm from their Family Department proudly presented a Cheque for £350.00 to Madeleine Heath at the East Anglian Children’s Hospice when she visited their Milton site in Cambridgeshire, last week (13th January).
Two days later Shoshana Goldhill – the family department partner presented a cheque to Claire Durrant the Chair of Trustees and Christine Till Scheme Manager of Home Start Uttlesford for £350.00 at their offices at Uttlesford District Council. In addition to donating to these two great causes, Jennifer Carpenter at Adams Harrison handed over a cheque to Lynne Taylor volunteer for Save the Children for £300 towards the Ebola Crisis appeal at the Saffron Walden office this week.
Staff Get Together To Donate To The Haverhill Food Bank

Emma Laidlaw, PA to Shoshana Goldhill, organised this excellent collection and everyone within the three offices donated to this great cause helping local people.
Christmas Hamper Competition Winner

In an amazing gesture, Cheryll has asked us to donate the Christmas Hamper to a local Food Bank. We have chosen the Haverhill Food Bank as this is an organization that we at Adams Harrison Solicitors already support, having carried out a collection at all three offices, we aim to support the local community and we would like to personally thank Cheryll for this amazing gesture that will help so many local people in Haverhill and the surrounding area.
Cheryll’s name was successfully drawn from our free prize draw this morning, after following us on Twitter and re-tweeting our competition in the past two weeks.
We would like to thank everyone that took part in our prize giveaway and keep an eye on our twitter account and blog for legal advice, and top competitions.

Christmas Cheer Raised Money for Save the Children

Late Night Shopping Event Winner

We are very pleased to announce that the winner was Lucy Pryor (aged 5) who wins a £10.00 Marks & Spencer gift card.

Adams Harrison Support Wear It Pink Day

Adams Harrison Support The Chariots Of Fire Event
/in News/by Sue LawtonAdam Harrison were pleased to participate in and support the Chariots of Fire which is one of Cambridgeshire’s largest annual charity events.
The race follows in the footsteps of the famous film, taking its scenic route through the streets and colleges of Cambridge, with teams of six each running a 1.7 mile course in relay format.
2014 funds are being raised for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity.
