Lexcel Logo

Adams Harrison are very pleased to announce that we have attained our re-accreditation to the Law Society’s Legal Excellence Standard (Lexcel) for the 20th year, having originally achieved the standard in 1999.

We were commended for 36 areas of good practice and highly commended for sustaining a very high level of compliance against the standard.

We were also highly commended for our approach to the development and implementation of our Community and Social Responsibility Policy by attending local schools, providing advice in Careers Events about the legal profession and helping pupils understand the workplace and recruitment into the sector. As well as supporting a number of local events and charities.

The audit commented on the excellent calibre and high morale of our  staff.

Our assessor stated that there was clear evidence that we continue to place very significant emphasis on the levels of client care that we provide.  He stated that it was evident from the files he reviewed that levels of client care were excellent.

Adams Harrison Cyber Essentials Certificate

The firm has been awarded the Cyber Essentials accreditation – demonstrating that we have in place systems and controls to ensure that we are best protected against any internal and external threats. This includes not only our computer hardware but our entire internet facing infrastructure at Adams Harrison, including firewalls and internet routers.

The Cyber Essential scheme is Government backed and industry supported. To become accredited, it is necessary to show that there are technical controls in place to prevent against on line security threats.

We take seriously the risk of malicious attacks on data and therefore keep under regular review the steps and measures that can be put in place to reduce the risk.

We are now displaying the Cyber Essentials badge on our website homepage and e-mails to give clients and third parties peace of mind that their data is safe with us.

Two Important Legal Accreditations Retained

LEXCEL

Adams Harrison are pleased to announce that we have retained our Legal Excellence Quality Mark (Lexcel).  This is developed specifically for the legal profession.  It is an optional, recognized accreditation scheme for law firms and in-house legal departments which gives assurance that a practice meets high client care and business management standards.

To gain and retain the Lexcel accreditation a practice must undergo a rigorous initial then annual application and assessment process.  This includes conducting background checks and an on-site visit from an independent trained Lexcel Assessor.

Adams Harrison has successfully retained this quality mark since 1999.

CQS

Aadams harrison have also retained Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) accreditation for the fifth year in a row, having achieved the qualification in July 2011.

Clementine Harrison Achieves Police Station Accreditation.

Congratulations to Clementine Harrison who has successfully completed and passed the police station accreditation process to represent clients at the police station.

In doing so she demonstrated her knowledge and experience by submitting a portfolio of cases.  Also she passed a Critical Incident Test – an oral exam responding to various hypothetical police station scenarios under timed conditions.

Well done Clementine.

Accreditations

We are pleased to announce that we have successfully achieved re-accreditation to the Legal Excellence Standard (Lexcel) and also Investors in People, having held both since 1999.

We are audited and have to achieve a high level of compliance in all areas to obtain these accreditations.
